Apply for Eurostars call 6 in 2024
European organisations collaborating on an innovative R&D project can apply for funding from the Eurostars programme initiated by EUREKA. This is possible for SMEs developing a new product, process or service together with at least one entity from another Eurostars country. The sixth call for this European programme is open for applications from 12 January until 14 March 2024.
Grant for international market-oriented R&D
The Eurostars grant encourages faster development and growth of SMEs. Innovation projects to develop new products, processes and services are eligible for funding. The programme has an exclusive focus on civil applications. Companies are eligible for grants if they work or intend to work with partners in other countries. Consortia must consist of at least two independent entities and entities must be from at least two Eurostars countries. The project must be led by an SME and must have a maximum duration of 36 months.
Eurostars grant contribution
The maximum grant per project is € 500,000. Subsidy is only available for research and development activities, the remaining costs must be financed through a personal contribution. Subsidy percentages of eligible R&D costs differ per size and type of organisation. For SMEs and knowledge institutions, this percentage is 50%. For large companies and other participants it is 40%.
