More information on this clusterEurope aims to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. To reach this goal, Europe has to be at the forefront of climate science. There needs to be a better understanding of the causes, evolution, risks, impacts and opportunities of climate change. Also, the energy and transport sectors need to be more climate and environment-friendly, more efficient and competitive, smarter and more resilient. Europe has launched Horizon Europe cluster 5: Climate, Energy and Mobility for projects that might be key to delivering the knowledge needed to achieve climate neutrality.
Aim of cluster 5: Climate, Energy and Mobility
The clusters aims to realize a climate-neutral Europe by 2050. The cluster is therefore looking for innovative solutions that speed up green and digital transitions and associated transformations of the economy, industry and society. This involves the transition to greenhouses and gas-neutral energy and mobility sectors by 2050.
