The first call of CrossRoads 2023-2027 coming soon
Are you a Dutch/ Flemish SME from the southern provinces and do you work together with a Dutch/Flemish partner to develop innovative solutions for social problems? The CrossRoads 2023-2027 grant may be for you then. The first call of the new program will be announced soon. However, the contours of the program for 2023-2027, which is part of the Interreg grant programme, are already established. Feel free to read on if you are interested.
Are you eligible for CrossRoads 2023-2027?
You are eligible for the grant if you are an SME from the Southern Netherlands and you have a collaboration with at least one SME from Flanders. Your project is focused on developing and demonstrating prototypes for a new process, product or service with an explicit contribution to one or more of the following social transition domains:
- Sustainable use of energy
- Sustainable use of raw materials
- Healthcare
- Digitization/ industry 4.0
In addition, your project must meet the following criteria:
- Innovative nature of the project;
- Economic impact;
- Contribution to societal transition areas;
- Cross-border added value of the collaboration;
- Quality of the application;
- Competencies of the implementers.
Participation of knowledge institutions
Knowledge institutions and large enterprises can participate in the projects as external service providers, as uncompensated partners (not receiving subsidies) or if they are not the receiving project partner.
What grant amount does CrossRoads 2023-2027 offer?
The total budget of €10 million has been set for 2023-2026. You can get up to 50% of the project costs covered with a maximum of €250,000 per project. The covered costs include: personnel costs, costs for consumables and external costs/subcontractors.
When can you apply for CrossRoads 2023-2027?
CrossRoads 2023-2027 opens a call twice a year. The first call will be published soon.
