In the Netherlands, Raith focuses specifically on the development and production of its EBPG systems (Electron Beam Pattern Generators). From its facility in Best, situated in the city centre of the Brainport Eindhoven high-tech region, Raith continues to refine and advance this leading technology. EBPG systems are used worldwide for a broad range of high-tech applications, including:
- Research environments such as universities, national laboratories, and nanocenters;
- Prototyping of semiconductors and nanophotonic structures;
- Fabrication of masks for other lithography technologies, including EUV masks;
- Quantum computing, nanomechanical systems, and sensor development.
