New ERC Consolidator Grant call opened
A new call for the ERC Consolidator Grant has been opened. This call is part of the Horizon Europe programme, which promotes frontier research by the EU’s best research teams. With a total grant budget of €718.7 million, applications can be submitted until 14 January 2025.
What can you receive ERC Consolidator Grants for?
Researchers or research teams of any nationality can apply for grants with 7 to 12 years of experience. The maximum amount to be received is € 2 million for five years. In addition, an amount of €1 million of additional support can be applied for. This can be made available to cover any start-up costs. Through this scheme, researchers will have the opportunity to further expand their independent research line and team.
Eligibility for ERC grant
To be eligible for the ERC Consolidator Grant, the research must be conducted in a public or private research organisation. This can be the organisation where the scientist is already working or an organisation in one of the EU member states or associated countries. Organisations in the UK may also participate.
