Transforming Health and Care Systems (THCS) is European Partnership instrument on transforming health and care systems. This is a ‘Cofund action’ under the Horizon Europe programme. THCS is aimed at supporting national and regional research and innovation projects in the health and care sector. Together with a large number of research and innovation organisations in the sector, THCS launches grant calls for various types of projects. Specifically, for projects that contribute to the transformation towards better, more sustainable, inclusive and innovative health and care systems.
Second opening (Joint Transnational Call (JTC)) now open
THCS has launched a second open call in 2024. This call aims to implement innovative person-centred health and care models focused on prevention strategies, using IT and digital technologies. A total of €34 million has been made available for this call. The deadline for full applications is 14 May 2024, 2pm. Contact us for advice on this programme.

From 23 countries, 51 partner organisations, active in health and care, are working with the European Commission within this partnership. The countries and organisations involved may differ per call. A full list of funding and innovation organisations per country can be viewed here.
