Monique Nijkamp, PhD
Monique has been with Hezelburcht Nijmegen as a consultant since 2018. She completed her master’s in Biomedical Sciences with a specialisation in Toxicology. She eventually completed a PhD in Radiation Oncology and gained experience as a researcher. Thanks to these experiences she’s been able to support the team Life Sciences, Health & Food with translating academic knowledge to grant applications, specifically in the field of food.
With a lot of enthusiasm I’m able to use my academic skills to give innovative companies and researcher the best and most fitting grant advice. I get a lot of energy out of the idea that I’ve been helping organisations in realising their projects. Besides work I’m an ambitious runner and enjoy bicycle racing. I also love hanging out with friends, enjoy cooking with seasonal products and take pleasure in travelling to new places.
