LIFE 2026 calls for proposals open for applications on 21 April
The new LIFE calls will be published on 21 April 2026. LIFE is the European funding programme for projects in the fields of nature, environment, climate and energy. Through these calls, various types of organisations can apply for funding for innovative sustainability projects that contribute to European climate and environmental objectives.
LIFE calls: what can you expect?
The upcoming calls are part of the EU LIFE Programme (2021–2027) and cover the four sub-programmes on which the programme focuses:
- Nature and biodiversity
- Circular economy and quality of life
- Climate mitigation and adaptation
- Clean energy transition
These calls are open to both public and private organisations, including companies, NGOs, research institutions and public authorities, aiming to implement projects with a significant impact on environmental and climate challenges in Europe.
