10th Eurostars call for international collaborations opens in January 2026
The 10th Eurostars call has been announced: from 16 January 2026 to 19 March 2026, SMEs can once again apply for funding to collaborate with other SMEs from Eurostars countries. The programme supports joint innovation projects and helps companies scale up and access new international markets.
10th Eurostars call in 2026
Within the Eurostars programme, each participating country allocates its own national budget. The first call has been scheduled for 16 January 2026 to 19 March 2026. The level of funding depends on the type of organisation, the project activities and the countries involved. The grant rate typically ranges between 40% and 50%, with a maximum contribution of € 500,000 per project.
Countries not participating in the 10th Eurostars call
Several countries have not allocated a budget for the 10th Eurostars call: Cyprus, Greece, Israel and Italy. Organisations from these countries are therefore not eligible for funding under this call.
Which projects are eligible?
Eurostars funding supports market-driven technological innovation, aimed at bringing new products, services or processes to the market. Projects must be led by an SME and involve collaboration with at least one other organisation from a different Eurostars country. This international cooperation enables SMEs to share knowledge and enter new markets more easily.
To be eligible, a collaborative project must meet several criteria, including:
- The consortium consists of at least two independent organisations from different Eurostars countries, with at least one SME acting as project leader;
- The project focuses exclusively on civil applications;
- The project duration does not exceed 36 months.
