Annelot Staes, MSc
Since January 2024, Annelot has strengthened the Hezelburcht team. With her background in Biomedical Sciences and a specialisation in ‘Cancer, Stem Cells & Developmental Biology’, she provides our relations in the field of Life Sciences, Health & Food with grant advice and support.
During my studies, I gained experience in both academic laboratories and biomedical companies. This has always fuelled my fascination with the medical world, from fundamental to application level. At any level of research, you can have a positive impact on society. I also find good collaboration and clear communication very important. This can be perfectly combined in my role at Hezelburcht to create successful grant applications. I am positive, curious and creative by nature. Being in contact and thinking along with a wide range of companies gives me a lot of energy. In my spare time, I enjoy running, acting, reading and making clothes.
