Yasemin Kaya Uncuoglu, PhD
I’m a proactive and dynamic person with nearly four years of experience in managing funded projects, writing proposals, building relationships and leading interdisciplinary teams in the Life Sciences, Chemistry and Health Care industry. Through my studies in Turkey, Denmark and France, I had the opportunity to work on different projects in multicultural environments. I learned to be autonomous and efficient on my work and decided to continue my career in the industry because of the process-oriented and more structured work environment.
I joined the Life Sciences and Health team in April 2019. At Hezelburcht, my objective is to transfer my knowledge and skills while undertaking new challenges in grant application, project management, coordination and proposal writing for R&D&I projects at national and international levels.
I have always been a great fan of science and technology since my childhood. Because of being a part of innovation projects I realized that I can always improve myself and never stop learning! That’s why I’m eager to work as a Consultant at Hezelburcht!
I’ve had various hobbies as I’ve grown up: I’m a martial arts enthusiast who practiced Karate and Judo, but Aikido has always been my favorite budo where I hold a 2nd Dan. I also love traveling, literature, biking and cooking. My family and friends are everything to me, and I always love to spend time with them.
